She is widely known for her role as a Dragon on the award-winning series Dragons’ Den, where she spent 15 seasons as the longest-running female Dragon in the show’s history. A three-time bestselling author and sought-after speaker, Arlene regularly travels across the country to share her insights with teams, students, and leaders.

Arlene immigrated to Canada with her family at the age of three, arriving with few belongings but a strong sense of possibility. Inspired by her father, a teacher whose curiosity and gratitude shaped her outlook, she pursued every opportunity available to her. After being introduced to the world of marketing while working at a television station, she built a career in the field while raising four children, eventually founding and leading her own business.

Today, Arlene serves on multiple public and private boards and remains deeply engaged in community and philanthropic work. With a long-standing passion for health, food and beverage, and supporting women in business, she is actively involved in a range of charitable initiatives.
